Yoel Suisa, a resident of Dimona who volunteers with the Rescue Union and MDA, was killed today (Thursday) in a car accident that happened in the Negev, 12 years after his younger brother Yakir, a cadet in the Shavas, perished in the Carmel disaster when he was 26 years old, and 16 years after his father died of a heart attack Following an attack he attended.
"But a heavy burden fell on Dimona, Yoel was a well-known figure in the city," city resident Dan Benovida paid tribute to him.
"Beloved Yoel was a man of kindness that many wanted to be like him. With great dedication and love he cared for those in need of medical care, and distinguished people who passed away and needed the charitable services of Zaka.
His legacy and way will be a part of Dimona and the Negev forever."
The mayor of Dimona, Benny Biton, paid tribute to him: "He is the biggest volunteer in Dimona.

Four years earlier, the father of the family, Raphael, died as a result of a heart attack, which occurred after he was present that day at the scene of an attack in Dimona, when a terrorist detonated an explosive belt there. Raphael was not injured in the explosion, but was recognized as a victim of hostilities.
