After an eight-year break: "One Star" star Nic celebrates hit comeback after allegations of violence

Eight years ago, pop star Nic was confronted with appalling allegations.
Although he was acquitted in court, his career was over.
Now he's celebrating his comeback.
Duisburg – In 2006, Nic (41) became known for his song "A star (that bears your name)".
But the fame was not to last, it became quiet about the pop singer.
Because in 2014 terrible allegations were made: Nic (born Mirco Harald Grunert) is said to have beaten and sexually assaulted several women.
Nic is innocent - but his hit career is over
In the court process he is acquitted of all allegations - Nic is innocent.
But his career has long since ended, nobody books him anymore.
The pop singer is devastated.
"One thinks the best thing to do is jump in front of the train.
It doesn't make any sense anymore.
You can't pay for your things anymore," he recalled in an interview with
RTL
about the dark hours of his life.
Nic only found his way back to music with the help of his wife.

With the help of his wife, he managed to fight his way out of this low. In 2019 he married his Ela, with whom he had been together for several years. Today the blonde is not only his wife, but also his manager. She wrote 14 of 18 songs on Nic's new album "Die Liebe bebt".

The hit song "A star (that bears your name)" originally came from Nic's namesake.
Nikolaus Presnik aka Nik P. wrote and composed the song back in 1998.
However, he only became known in the party hit version.
In 2007, Nik P. recorded "Einen Stern" together with DJ Ötzi and was a complete success with this version.
Previously, however, hit star Nic had already made the song a Mallorca and disco hit.
Nic's wife helped him out of the deep
"She made me make music again," enthuses the hit star.
He thanks his wife on social media.
She is always at his side, guided him in recent years and made him the man he is today.
