According to the indictment, Hamed established a military unit on behalf of the terrorist organization Hamas, with the aim of carrying out attacks against Israeli targets, and planned, together with other members of the unit, to carry out a shooting attack.

Among other things, the defendant shot at a private vehicle with four Israeli passengers on June 29, 2015. In the incident, as mentioned, the late Rosenfeld was murdered and other passengers were injured. Also, the defendant was prosecuted for another shooting attack from June 2015. Hamed was convicted of attempting to cause death on purpose, in membership and activity in an impermissible association and other security offenses.
