Likud and religious Zionism announced this evening (Thursday) that an agreement had been reached between the parties to form a government.
According to the agreement, religious Zionism will receive the Ministry of Finance in rotation, the Ministry of Immigration and Absorption and a new ministry to be called "National Missions".
Religious Zionism explained that this is the Ministry of Settlement, which will also receive new powers and, among other things, will also be responsible for the National Service, the Settlement Division, pre-military preparations, nuclear missions and more.
Beyond that, a minister who is a member of religious Zionism will also serve as a minister in the Ministry of Defense responsible for settlements in Judea and Samaria, and will be subordinate to Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu.
