The Förderkreis Dorfen calls for a faster end to the bridge construction work.

Dorfen

- "Dorfen hoid zam" - especially now, during the construction of the bridge and the closure of the B15, the motto of the Dorfen retail trade is more than ever a program.

This was explained by Stefan Tremmel, chairman of the Dorfen support group, at the annual general meeting on Monday.

The trade association has 160 members: "We are constantly growing," said Tremmel.

Bar Amore, where a good 50 members met for a meeting, as well as the Häcker veterinary practice and the Montessori kindergarten, to name just a few of the newcomers, are new to the support group.

Stephan Seibert was also present.

The pharmacist will take over the Marie pharmacy in the city center in January.

"Dorfen must remain a lovely shopping town," demanded the chairman.

After the corona pandemic, the bridge construction is now hitting the shops for daily needs in the city center in particular.

"The costs increase due to inflation, income and sales decrease - you can compensate for that for a certain time."

He observed that many buyers are currently avoiding Dorfens City and going to Taufkirchen or St. Wolfgang to shop.

With an incendiary letter to the deputies of the district as well as to Minister Ulrike Scharf and district administrator Martin Bayerstorfer, the board of the support group is now hoping for a remedy for the construction measures that are being delayed more and more.

"We have to put our finger on the wound," explained Tremmel.

Bayerstorfer, who also came to the meeting, wants to demand from the Freising State Building Authority that the B15 bridge construction be completed earlier than forecast.

The end of the construction phase is currently scheduled for June 2023.

Until then, the Förderkreis will continue to advertise with its "Bridge Days" competition, in which invoices from buyers worth up to 1500 euros per month will be accepted.

"There were wedding rings, a chainsaw or shoes underneath - the current main prize: "We'll pay for an exhaust repair for 500 euros at the Forster dealership," Tremmel advertises the campaign.

City marketing manager Vanessa Moniker, who is also responsible for economic development, spontaneously explained that she was providing 3,000 euros from her pot, which are two raffles.

Dorfen vouchers are booming, over 7000 were sold in 2021 alone.

That was a total of 70,000 euros.

"Sensational - the purchasing power remains in Dorfen," commented Tremmel.

"This year we will break the 100,000 euro mark." The city of Dorfen regularly gives away around 10,000 euros, which has been giving away gift baskets to vouchers for employees and those celebrating their anniversaries for a number of years.

At this point the district administrator intervened again.

Bayerstorfer suggested introducing a nationwide gift voucher so that the district office could also support retail in Dorfen.

The Dorfener business vouchers (DoGGs), the discount stamp system of the Förderkreis, are more popular than ever and remain "perennials".

The raffle for the DoGGs will take place this year at the Christmas market.

"There is a so-called pre-opening on December 8th at 7 p.m. - a total of 1300 euros will be raffled off here, plus free mulled wine," Tremmel invites.
