Who would have thought that in the 21st century France would be shut down by a pandemic and then plunged into darkness, for lack of energy?

It is however the reality.

We thought we had the best healthcare system in the world and we saw that it could quickly be overwhelmed.

We also thought that our electrical independence was guaranteed thanks to our nuclear industry and we realize that this is not the case.

The planned sabotage of our electricity production

Like a poor country, the world's sixth largest economy has run out of masks and is now preparing to live to the rhythm of power cuts.

If it is very cold this winter, expect to have to go without school, trains, telephone for a few hours… Not to mention, of course, light and heating.

To cope, wearing a turtleneck and down jacket is recommended by the authorities.
