The Center for Health Protection (CHP) appealed today that those who have received injections from Shining Beauty should seek immediate medical attention if they develop symptoms of nervous system damage, including drooping eyelids, double images or blurred vision, difficulty chewing, hoarse voice, swallowing, speaking or breathing, etc. Call the hotline now.
Center staff will assess their situation and follow up if necessary.
The center also pointed out that since the relevant muscles of the poisoned patient will be affected, and the botulinum toxin may also spread and affect other areas other than the injection site, the patient may have the above symptoms hours, days or weeks after the injection .
The center reminds members of the public that if they have urgent medical needs, they should seek medical advice as soon as possible.
