It got magical.

The multifaceted musical implementation of the composers is closely interwoven with the magic of the music.

In her introduction, Chairwoman Maria Migge reported on a visit to the Musikverein's latest project, the MV-Rascal Gang.

She was fascinated by how the children magically react and participate to music from the age of 16 months.

Many of the club's musicians have felt this magic all their lives.

The beginner wind orchestra started the concert evening under the baton of Melanie Simon.

The music is full of magic with "Supercalifragilistiexpidalidocous" from the musical Mary Poppins, as well as from "Pirates of the Caribbean" with "The Curse of Black Pearl".

The audience rewarded the magical experience of the first public performances in the beginner's wind orchestra with strong applause.

The audience was invited to sing along

The youth wind orchestra, under the direction of Benedikt Migge, is constantly expanding its experience at concerts.

The conductor moderated the program items with aplomb.

The five demanding pieces of music all describe magical moments such as Felix Baumgartner's jump into the stratosphere in "Stratoshere" or the fascination when a machine starts to think in "The Machine Awakes".

The popular piece "Ein Leben lang" by the "Fäaschtbänkler", known from the Brass Wiesn, describes a piece of the Musikverein's DNA.

The audience was allowed to sing along to the text – with goosebumps feeling with the closing lines “Music is what happiness that surrounds me”.

With long applause, the visitors expressed their appreciation of the youth wind orchestra.

And then the orchestra took the audience to Egypt

The orchestra member and author Katharina Lang was available to moderate the symphonic wind orchestra.

The listeners were thus extensively provided with knowledgeable, humorous details about the six-part program.

Rick Peperkamp began with Frederic Copin's "Polonaise Militaire", the most popular of the artist's 18 polonaises.

In the next scenario, the orchestra kidnapped to Egypt.

Mighty pyramids in front of the shimmering sun, festive processions with camels, dancers and magnificent floats were described by musical images.

Another piece of music was about one of the most well-known sagas, the legend of “Excalibur”, the magic sword of King Arthur.

With "Roll em' up" the circus world opened up with all its magic.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

The enthusiastic audience vehemently demanded an encore, which was met with "Them Basses" - a piece of popular wind music.

A brilliant concert finale by the symphonic wind orchestra, with powerful greetings from the "orchestra machine room", the deep brass.
