Musikbund District Werdenfels is looking forward to the 25th District Music Festival on June 11, 2023 in Wallgau

Wallgau – The fact that less than half of the 19 bands, drummers and marching bands took part in this year's march classification of the Werdenfels district music association was certainly not due to the organizers of the festival week marking the 100th anniversary of the Groß- und Kleinweil ​​band.

Because the festival week with beer tent was, according to district manager Josef Felix at the annual meeting of the Music Association District Werdenfels in the Golfalm Wallgau, the first after the corona pandemic and was accordingly well attended and great atmosphere, so all in all a complete success.

It was probably more due to the fact that some questions about the evaluation criteria are unanswered.

For example, there are rumors that points will be deducted if the braces are not the same – although everyone from Werdenfelser knows that the braces in particular have to be very individual, whether with a coat of arms, music symbols, or completely individually, each wearer decides for himself what suits him.

And this should lead to a point deduction?

No!

That is the answer of the district leader Josef Felix.

In the past, little attention was paid to the same appearance - but the criteria were the same for everyone from the Musikbund Ober- and Niederbayern.

Now, however, local costumes and clothing have been adapted and taken into account in the criteria.

"The evaluation criteria for the marshalling are completely visible".

And there is also help with the book “Music in Motion”.

Another matter close to Felix's heart is a free "coach" for two march music rehearsals for each club that takes part in the march music evaluation in 2023.

And the Wallgau Music Band is sure to be happy about that.

Because in addition to organizing and hosting the 25th district music festival of the Werdenfels district on June 11, 2023 with a promising festival week, you will also take part in the march ranking yourself.

Thomas Neuner, 1st board of directors of the Wallgau music band, is all the more looking forward to lively participation under these changed conditions.

Finally, Gerhard Böck, the representative of the Musikbund Ober- und Niederbayern, took the floor to point out the new software.

With the words "It is not a matter of course that so many musicians appear at a district music meeting and then music is there and plays - that doesn't happen often".
