On the occasion of Christmas and the New Year, the “Fun and Hat” team opened a charity bazaar in cooperation with the Lamset Hanan Association to help cancer patients, at the association’s headquarters in the city of Jaramana, in the countryside of Damascus.

The bazaar continues until next Monday, and includes supplies for Eid decorations, handicrafts, crochet, clothes, sweets, accessories, paintings and antiques.

And in a statement to SANA correspondent between Ismat Jabr, the deputy head of the association’s administration, that the aim of the bazaar is to display women’s handicrafts, encourage them to work, and provide support and assistance to cancer patients through the association, pointing out that the association provides services to more than 2,200 patients by providing the necessary analyzes and pictures, in addition to financial aid. And intangibles that are provided by specialized doctors, whether in oncology, nutrition, and so on.

Jabr pointed out that early detection of the disease contributes to many cases of recovery, pointing out that the association also provides patients with emergency courses to help themselves.

Alba Dakak, a trainer of handicrafts with accessories, wax and papers, and the supervisor of the “Fun and Hat” team, indicated that this is the second bazaar that is held in cooperation with the association with the aim of supporting it and providing assistance to cancer patients, pointing out that she is participating in displaying her handicrafts made of wax and decorations for Christmas and New Year’s and accessories And Al-Hali, noting the importance of supporting these associations that extend a helping hand and assistance to patients in light of these difficult living conditions.

The young woman, Ramia Qassam, indicated that she is participating in displaying her handicrafts of jewelry and bracelets made of brims, pointing out that she has benefited from her studies at the Art Institute to apply and benefit from what she learned in establishing her small project, which she is considering expanding as a source of income in the future.

With its bright colors, Juhayna Al-Maghribi participates in displaying its handicrafts for newborns to promote its handicrafts and take the opinions and suggestions of visitors, pointing out that its products are simple and use good raw materials of high quality, while women Sarah Rifai, Reham Ghanem, Raghad Saeed, Manal Al-Assi and Rana Abu Al-Jawz display their handicrafts for the winter season Where they confirmed that their participation in the bazaar is to support patients and spread the culture of volunteering and community awareness, in addition to promoting their projects and businesses.

Ruwaida Makarem participates in displaying her foodstuff products, such as sweets for Christmas and New Year's, pointing out that she markets her products through the bazaar, in addition to that her participation comes within the framework of supporting the association and patients.

In her turn, Manal Abu Al-Khair, a mental arithmetic trainer, indicated that she participates in presenting intelligence cubes to develop children's intellectual skills, as they invest their spare time with useful things.

The two young women, Maram Badra and Ruba Diab, display cosmetics such as perfumes, shampoos, and cosmetic creams, as they found in the bazaars an opportunity for marketing and work by identifying the market requirements, in addition to supporting charitable works.

Kholoud Afuf Yassin from the “Fun and Hat” team participates for the second time in the bazaar and displays new handicrafts for Christmas and New Year’s, in addition to household handicrafts that she made from recycling to encourage women to take advantage of old things by making new handicrafts.

Mrs. Sawsan Jabr participates with her daughter, Nour Zaidan, by displaying their handicrafts of paper, ceramic paste and candles, stressing that the bazaar is an opportunity for them to introduce their products and find a market to sell them, in addition to taking into account the suggestions of visitors and exchanging ideas with participants.

Mrs. Olfat Seif displays a group of traditional clothes for the people of the city, in addition to linens, explaining that with the help of more than twenty women they embroider and decorate handkerchiefs to keep pace with fashion and the era, and she was supported and encouraged to participate in the bazaar from her surroundings who admire her products, while Hoda Rashid participates for the first time in displaying a collection From clothes to introduce their goods and support the association.

Rabab Saeed, the secretary of the association and the bazaar organization, pointed out the importance of these bazaars to support the association and encourage women and young women to revive the heritage of fathers and grandfathers.
