New documentation of the last moments of the 18-year-old Yoel Lahnghel, who was stabbed to death about a month ago in Kiryat Shmona, was published this evening (Thursday) on News 13. In the video from the body camera of one of the police officers who arrived at the scene after a call about a fight, Lahnghel can already be seen with a cut under his eye , after the violent incident that occurred earlier.
Yoel tried to explain to the policeman what exactly happened to him, and his friend translated.
The friend claimed that Yoel often suffered harassment because of his origin, and his girlfriend sat next to them, worried that the other group would come back to close the account.
In the video, the police interrogate the boys for many minutes until they are convinced that the incident is over.
"It's good that it ended like this, because then in the end someone would have received a knife," said one of them, and later even joked with Lahnghel: "Welcome to Israel."

Last week, an indictment was filed against Liad Adri, a 21-year-old man from Kiryat Shmona, for the murder of Lahanghel.
The indictment indicates that the fight broke out after children who arrived at the scene harassed Lahnghel and his girlfriend.
As a result, Lahnghel suffered injuries to his face and one of his teeth was broken.
The police were called to the scene and dispersed those present, but later Lahnghel and his friends returned there, as well as other young people.
A confrontation developed on the spot, during which Adri, who, according to the indictment, arrived at the scene with a knife hidden in his shirt sleeve, waved his left hand and shouted at Lahnghel and his friends: "Nobody beats a little boy."
After that, he stabbed Lahnghal in the stomach, and left the place.
A short time later, he returned to the ring and kicked Belhanghal, who collapsed on the floor, and fled the scene.
According to the indictment, Adri and Henghal did not know each other before the incident.
Despite the large number of people involved in the fight, it was clear that it was one person who stabbed Lahnghal, and it was this stabbing that caused his death.
During the investigation, the police investigation department arrested a police officer on suspicion of disrupting the investigation.
According to the suspicion, actions carried out by the police officer, related to Adri, were intended to hide important information about one of the suspects in the murder, who is his daughter's ex-partner.
Also, the commander of the northern police district dismissed the commander of the Kiryat Shmona station from his position.
