Shameful:
The UN General Assembly approved tonight (between Wednesday and Thursday) a decision according to which "Nakba Day" will be celebrated in the organization, close to the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of Israel's independence.
Today the #UNGA passed a shameful resolution calling for an official event to commemorate the Palestinian "Nakba" on the 75th Anniversary of the creation of the State of Israel.
By passing such an extreme and baseless resolution, the UN is only helping to perpetuate the conflict pic.twitter.com/RH3cHVWdT1

The ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan attacked the decision and called it a "disgrace". The ambassador added that "accepting the decision only perpetuates the conflict".
90 countries supported the Palestinian proposal, 30 opposed and 47 abstained.
Among the abstentions, a particularly interesting name was that of Ukraine.

As you may recall, last month the Ukrainians, along with Russia, voted in favor of a Palestinian proposal that the Hague Tribunal be able to judge Israel.
The Israelis in response "retaliated" when they avoided making a decision on providing reparations to Ukraine following the war.
UNGA is expected to vote on commemorating "Nakba Day," Israel's establishment as a catastrophe.
