Mohammed Tabari, a 44-year-old criminal from Lod, is accused of harassing a retired Shebas officer, a resident of Hadera who previously served in Sharon prison, where he was imprisoned in one of his lengthy prison terms. This, for many months, until he was arrested about two weeks ago. An indictment was filed against him today (Wednesday) At

the Hadera Magistrate's Court.

According to the indictment, during one day last March, Tabari called the officer 275 times. In one of these calls, he also threatened her, and a few moments later he entered her house against her will, continued to threaten and spit at her. She fled to her neighbor's house But he returned to the street, where at that time the ex-officer's husband, a SHBS man himself, was in his car with her father.

The indictment states that Tabari opened the door of the car, put his body inside, and informed him, "She doesn't want you, leave her, let her go already, I want to marry her."

The incident only ended when the husband got out of the vehicle, took out his service pistol, pointed it at the floor, ordered Tabari to sit down and called the police.

Five months later, in August of this year, the ex-prisoner appeared in the couple's life again, when he arrived at the officer's father's house and informed them that if they wanted him to leave them alone, the officer should cancel the complaint she filed with the police, and her husband should apologize and compensate him financially.

The next day, Tabari drove his car around her house, while honking.

She went to the police station to file a complaint against him, but during her drive she noticed him and informed him: "We will meet at the police station."

He followed her, and when she stopped her car at the gas station next to the police station in Hadera, he got out of his car, approached her car, got into it, took the key from the ignition switch, spoke rudely to her while she came back and begged him to leave her alone and get out of the car.

Following her response, he began cursing her again, and after she tried to run away towards the police station, he attacked her by holding her firmly by the hand.

The indictment also states that he continued to try to track her down and threaten her.

Also, he called Emma's store 35 times in one day in August, and the next day he called another 40 times.

During his arrest at the hearing held before Judge Nurit Hertzman, Avi Yitzhak disturbed the policeman, ran amok in the courtroom, spat on him and hit him in the face and on his clothes.

At the same time as the filing of the indictment, Inspector Yael Panhassi requests from the prosecution unit of the Coastal District of the police the extension of the detention of Muhammad Tabari until the end of the legal proceedings in the case.
