The Damascus Customs Directorate announced the holding of two public auctions to sell seized and abandoned goods at the Damascus Customs Secretariat, after the legal preservation period had passed, at the headquarters of the Rehabilitation and Training Directorate of the General Customs Directorate on the 5th and the 6th and 7th of December.
The Directorate indicated in a statement that those wishing to participate in the aforementioned auctions can review the Directorate to obtain the conditions for participation, and information about the goods before the auction.
According to the schedules specified in the decisions to conduct the auctions, the goods that will be auctioned on the 5th of this month include “parts for motorcycles,” while the goods in the auction on the 6th and 7th include “safety valves, a machine for cleaning and waxing fruits (production line) and plastic granules. And veterinary medicines, artificial roses, weaving toys, industrial shoes, items for Christmas decorations, and agricultural pearls.
The supporting papers required to participate in the auction include “a request for participation with stamps, a copy of the personal card, no judgment against him, a duly certified commercial or industrial record, and that the subscriber is not deprived of participating in public auctions or contracting with the state.” As for the auction of motorcycle parts, “the bidder who is awarded is bound The auction is to carry out the dismantling work under the supervision of customs, and to deliver the chassis to the smelting plant in Hama at its expense, and to complete the entire work within 45 days from the date of purchase.
The Damascus Customs Directorate had conducted a public auction to sell seized and abandoned goods that had passed the legal preservation period in the warehouses of the Damascus Customs Secretariat on the 4th, 5th and 6th of last April.
