Eve
Everything is still possible in group E of the World Cup in Qatar.
In tonight's double challenge Costa Rica-Germany and Japan-Spain up for grabs is access to the round of 16.
The first in the group will face Croatia, while the second will face the surprise Morocco.
The most difficult task falls to Germany forced to win, better if with a large result, against Costa Rica.
For the Central Americans, if Japan were to lose against Spain, a draw could also be fine.
Japan, in the event of a draw with the 'red rage', should trust in a defeat or a draw for Germany or even a German victory as long as it is not by more than a one-goal difference.
In this last case, based on the World Cup regulations, the number of yellow cards would be counted which, based on fair play, would assign the next round to the team that received the fewest.
Spain, from a theoretical point of view, could even qualify by losing the match if Germany and Costa Rica draw theirs: they would go through as runners-up behind Japan.
In summary, all four teams have an interest in winning their match to be certain of passing the round and accessing the second round.
