"Hello Atlanta!"

The crowd goes wild like he's a pop star.

In the election campaign for the Senate, the Democrats in Georgia are using a proven silver bullet - the humor of their ex-President Barack Obama.

The Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker felt this once again.

The ex-football player had recently attracted attention with a bizarre campaign speech.

Barack Obama, former US President:

“Well, in case you forgot what I said last time – It's okay!

You only had to wait a minute.

He reminds you himself every time he opens his mouth, every day.

Something comes to him every day, every day.

Since I was last here, Mr. Walker has spoken on issues of great importance to the people of Georgia.

For example: would it be better to be a vampire or a werewolf?

That's a debate I have to admit I had once myself - when I was seven years old.

Then I grew up.

In case you're wondering how Mr. Walker decided, he wanted to be a werewolf.

What is great!

As far as I'm concerned, he can be anything he wants except a US Senator."

The runoff election in Georgia on December 6 has great significance for US politics.

If Obama manages to help his party colleague Raphael Warnock defeat Herschel Walker, it could give the Democrats a slim majority in the Senate.

Republicans have already won a slim majority in the House of Representatives.
