The Palestinian Presidency considered the cold-blooded execution of Ammar Hamdi Mufleh, 23, by the Israeli occupation forces, from zero distance, in the town of Hawara, south of Nablus, as a heinous crime among the occupation’s crimes that are committed daily against the Palestinian people.
The presidency stated in a statement, according to the Palestinian Wafa Agency, that the occupation’s crimes have become a systematic scheme that requires urgent intervention from the international community to provide protection for the Palestinians, noting that the continued international silence encouraged the occupation to commit such cold-blooded crimes.
In turn, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the heinous execution committed by the occupation forces against the martyr Mufleh, stressing that it is a crime against humanity, and reflects the racist fascist mentality of the occupation and its plan to detonate the situation in the region and expand the killing circle and target the Palestinians.
The Foreign Ministry called on the international community to take urgent action, and stop double standards towards the Israeli violations and crimes against the Palestinian people, calling on the International Criminal Court to assume its responsibilities and end its investigations quickly, in order to hold the occupation officials accountable for their crimes.
For his part, Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh said: The scene of the criminal execution documented by cameras in the town of Hawara reflects the organized terrorism practiced by the Israeli occupation forces, disregarding all international resolutions and covenants, calling for the need to activate the international protection system for the Palestinian people.
For their part, the Palestinian resistance factions considered that the crime committed by the occupation forces by executing the young man Muflih reflects the Zionist occupation’s plan aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause, stressing that this crime will only increase the Palestinian people’s steadfastness and determination to resist until the realization of their legitimate rights approved by international covenants, foremost of which is ending Occupation and the establishment of a Palestinian state with occupied Jerusalem as its capital.
