A miner died after being trapped in a rockslide inside a gold mine in the Baikal region, southeastern Russia.
An emergency source told the Russian news agency TASS today: "The body of a worker was found in the Omshak mine," pointing out that the worker remained under the rubble after the rockslide that occurred inside the mine.
He added: Three other workers were in the area during the accident yesterday, as they were able to get out of the mine, and none of them were hurt.
