For the annual MVV timetable change on Sunday, December 11th, there are also improvements to the transport services in the Freising district.

District

– In the future, the Munich S-Bahn will run a continuous 20-minute cycle from Monday to Friday from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. along the entire route to the respective terminal stations, the MVV announced.

Only on individual sections in the outer areas of the S2 West, S4 West and S7 East trains cannot run every 20 minutes due to the infrastructure.

Here, too, the bars are noticeably compressed in many cases.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Additional trips on line S1 Freising/Airport

In detail, this means Monday to Friday for S-Bahn line 1 Freising/Airport: Numerous additional journeys, especially between Neufahrn and Freising, enable a continuous 20-minute cycle from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the entire route.

Please note: Trains sometimes leave the airport four minutes earlier than before.

And: In the future, two parts of the train will always travel to the airport, one to Freising.
