Part of the crew of the sponsored boat "Oste" was a guest in Wolfratshausen.
The program also included a basketball match with the Inselhaus children.
Wolfratshausen/Eckernförde – Mayor Klaus Heilinglechner welcomed visitors from the far north at the Christmas market in the rafting town: part of the crew of the “Oste”, a fleet service boat of the German Navy, had made the long journey by bus from Eckernförde to the south of the republic .
The "Oste" has been the sponsored boat of the Loisachstadt for many years.

For the eleven crew members - 36 in all - the trip to the Oberland was of course primarily a pleasure, but the marines did not shy away from work either: at the stand of the Mountain Rifle Company (GSK) Wolfratshausen, they sold high-proof spirits together with the GSK at the Christmas market.
Mayor Heilinglechner had previously officially welcomed the crew to the town hall.
Lieutenant Captain Karsten Bammann thanked him for the invitation on behalf of his team – he presented the head of town hall with a knot board.
For the majority of the soldiers it was the first visit to the rafting town
It was the first visit to Wolfratshausen for the majority of the marines.
They were accommodated with host families, primarily from the ranks of the GSK.

"We are very pleased that we can welcome team members of our sponsored boat again after the long Corona break," says Heilinglechner.
He paid tribute to the social commitment of the "Oste" crew, which has maintained a connection to the Inselhaus child and youth welfare facility for years.
The crew recently donated 2,300 euros to the Inselhaus (we reported).
The sailors had auctioned self-sewn duffel bags for a good cause.
"They show that they have a big heart for the weakest in society," the mayor said.
During their most recent visit, the Marines took the opportunity to play basketball with the children and young people cared for at the Inselhaus.
And the experts answered all questions about seafaring.
