Four young people from the Umbrian upper Tiber died in the night in a road accident that took place in Altomare in San Giustino Umbro.
They were traveling aboard a Fiat Punto which - based on what has been reconstructed so far by the carabinieri - ended up off the road.
The victims are two girls, aged 17 and 22, and two boys, aged 20 and 21.
All originating from Santa Maria Tiberina and Città di Castello.
They were returning from a birthday party and were probably heading to Sansepolcro in Tuscany to go to the disco.
There is a hypothesis that the wet road may have been the cause of the accident.
To reconstruct what happened, the carabinieri of the Città di Castello company coordinated by the Perugia prosecutor's office are at work.
The accident occurred on a straight stretch of road.
The car, a Fiat Punto, first ended up in a ditch and then against the retaining wall of a bridge.
The young men all died instantly inside the car.
