The civil engineering work for the new school swimming pool and canteen in Poing will start on December 5th.
The municipality informs that it can therefore be noisy and shake.
Poing – On the property south of the Anni-Pickert-School at Gruber Straße 2 it will be loud from Monday, December 5th: According to the municipality of Poing, the sheet piling work for the new construction of the school/teaching pool and the canteen will begin.
"This can lead to an increased noise level and vibrations in the immediate vicinity for a few days," says the announcement from the town hall.
In order to keep the exposure as low as possible, vibration measurements are carried out in parallel in the school area.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Ebersberg newsletter.)
According to the administration, the demolition and dismantling work on the property where the caretaker's house once stood has been underway since November 22nd.
Along with this, the earthworks and special foundation engineering would now be carried out successively.
The new construction of the swimming pool (some of which will also be open to the public) and the school canteen is currently the largest project in the municipality of Poing.
The total costs are calculated at 17 million euros, 11 million euros for the swimming pool, five for the canteen and one million euros for the outdoor area.
Opening: end of 2024.
