RTVE calls oppositions with 767 free access permanent jobs

The interim president of RTVE, Elena Sánchez Caballero, informed the RTVE Board of Directors on Thursday of the call for 767 free-access permanent jobs.

The access tests for this call are expected to take place during the first semester of 2023, as reported by the public body in a press release this Friday.

This call will make it possible to cover the loss of stable employment as a result of retirements in recent years, as well as to reinforce certain strategic areas of RTVE for the immediate future.

The net balance of the RTVE staff after this call will not change compared to the current situation.

Nor is the balance between the production centers and the territorial structure modified.

A total of 530 of these places will be destined for Madrid, 102 will be for Barcelona, ​​24 for the Canary Islands and 111 in the territorial structure.

The list of vacancies, which will be specified in the coming weeks, as well as the bases of the call, has been drawn up considering, for each destination and occupation, the current level of temporary employment, retirements and the needs of the service.

The need to incorporate new professional profiles capable of driving change both in different facets of digital audiovisual production and in improving management and internal organization has also been taken into account.

From the corporation it is insisted that the final photograph of RTVE that will appear after the incorporation of the people who obtain their place in this call will not be very different from the current one.

The public channel ensures that these contracts are vital to get its content to new audiences, whose habits have evolved radically in the last decade to focus on the digital environment, moving further and further away from the traditional media offer.

The last call for oppositions in the chain dates from 2007 and a total of 758 places were offered.

More than 23,000 candidates took the tests.

The most requested was that of informant, where 9,167 professionals applied for the 202 places offered.

Of all those who appeared, 1,202 opponents already had a labor contract with the corporation.
