Three people were killed in a bomb blast in Medinipur district, southwest of Kolkata, the capital of the state of West Bengal, in eastern India.
The Xinhua news agency quoted a local government official as saying today: The explosion that occurred inside the house of Rajkumar Mana, the local leader in Naryaplia village of the eastern district of Medinipur, killed the local leader and his brother, and another person who was in the house during the explosion.
