, in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), had the idea of creating a perfume linked to the World Cup.

With two other researchers, "we wanted to design a perfume representative of the colors of the tricolor flag", explains the creator of the Flav Lab, a fablab dedicated to aromas and perfumes.
These specialists have chosen blueberry, white musk and a scent of red fruit.
“But since there was controversy surrounding the rainbow armband in support of the LGBT community, it seemed important to give it a nod,” adds Thierry Talou.
For this, the team turned to aromatic plants, whose initials form the acronym LGBT: lavender, galbanum, woody notes, and thyme.

“It gives something very balanced, with very pleasant top, middle and base notes, rather light and fruity.
We wanted something unisex.
“First baptized Blues 2022, it should finally be called Blues 2X22, to avoid any confusion with the authorities of the World Cup.
For the moment only available in sample form, it has been distributed on the Toulouse campus and the first returns are positive, according to the researcher.
Depending on the results of the players of Didier Deschamps, it could "why not, be marketed and become the perfume of the end of the year", smiles Thierry Talou.

In the meantime, Toulouse residents will still be able to discover it on the Christmas market, where one of the members of the team behind this perfume holds a stand of scented candles of her own creation.
"These samples will allow an opening to the general public", rejoices the specialist in flavors.
