In the second match of the round of 16, Leo Messi's Argentina is playing the next round against the 'cinderella' Australia.

The South Americans start as favorites but, during this World Cup, the teams that are more affordable on paper have shown that they suffer.

The 'socceros' have nothing to lose and are looking for the feat.

Scaloni (Argentina coach): 'Are we favourites?

I don't think so, it must be demonstrated on the pitch'

"We'll have to see if our rival tomorrow is really inferior. I don't agree, Australia is a good team and their results here don't surprise me. So let's leave aside the theory that says we are favorites and prove it on the pitch , playing football, possibly as in the last few games".

Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni wishes his team to repeat their last performances, read victories against Mexico and Poland, in the round of 16 which their players will play against 'Socceroos'.

Meanwhile Scaloni has to resolve some doubts about the formation.

"I don't know if at the beginning it will be the same as in the last match - says the Albiceleste coach -. I have to check someone's conditions, like Di Maria. Now I don't know if he will be able to play, I'll decide only after

finishing training.

The important thing is that everyone knows what he has to do.

And the fact that whoever enters the race in the running can improve the situation of the match is an excellent coa: it has already happened".

Australia;

Arnold, I know how Argentina fights.

Coach, 'I've already done it at the Tokyo Games'.

He challenged Maradona, now Messi

"We earned the chance to face Lionel Messi, the best player in the world, in a World Cup knockout match, and it seems like a dream. But let's not waste it now."

This was stated by Graham Arnold, coach of Australia who, in view of tomorrow's match against Argentina, has banned his players from social media since the day of the round of 16, "because they must not get distracted".

But for him, Arnold, facing Argentina and the best footballer in the world is nothing new: he was on the field, with Australia's No. 9 shirt, in the double play-off for a place at Usa '94 which in November 1993 the Socceroos played, being eliminated, just against Albiceleste, whose n.10 was Diego Maradona.

Now he will experience emotions of this kind as a coach and against Messi, the heir to the

Pibe de oro'.

"But I know how Argentina fights - says Arnold -, I already did it at the Tokyo Games, when I led the Olympic team and it ended 2-0 for us. After all, even tomorrow there will be yellow jerseys against that blue and white stripes".

Even having passed the group stage of the World Cup was nothing new for him: in 2006, in Germany, he was Guus Hiddink's assistant.

"And from him-he says-in one year I learned more than if I had worked alone for ten years: his attention to every detail was incredible".

Meanwhile, despite an entire country cheering for the 'Socceroos' tomorrow, for Arnold there will be again, by now a tradition, the joking song of the 'aussie' fans: "Graham Arnold, h'es walking with his dog".
