"Joggers" run through the Berlin subway tunnel - "Absolutely tired of life"

In a big city like Berlin almost everything has already happened.

But a marathon in a subway tunnel?

No, this action only gave the appearance.

But it raises many questions.

Munich/Berlin – A Berlin subway station, a day like always.

Passengers are waiting for the next train.

Suddenly, however, something completely different comes out of the Mehringdamm subway tunnel: ten runners in sportswear, with bib numbers like those for a marathon.

Calmly they walk past the waiting people.

A video of the bizarre scene shows one of them even waving at the camera with a smile.

What happened here?

The situation took place on Wednesday evening (November 30, 2022) at around 9:40 p.m.

On the U7 line in the direction of Möckernbrücke, the runners suddenly come out of the shaft instead of a train, which leads in the direction of the U-Bahn station Luftbrücke.

The Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe don't find that funny at all.

"It's just life-threatening," he said.

The people on the platform marveled at the sight.

A witness to the incident said: “The bib numbers made it look so official.

But five minutes later the train pulled in, that was absolutely suicidal!”

The background to the action is unknown.

It seems unlikely that the runners actually ran from one station to the other, especially since the video recordings also show that the subway arrives five minutes later.

Also, none of the joggers carried a torch.

The BVG are considering legal action against the group.

They also urgently warn others: Don't copy it!
