A 20-year-old pregnant woman was reported missing in the Mexican municipality of
Veracruz
on November 30, after going to meet a woman who offered to give her
clothes
, according to her family.
Her body was found in the nearby municipality of Medellín, and two people were arrested, accused of murdering the young woman to steal
her newborn baby
, the newspaper Milenio reported this Saturday.
The murdered young woman, identified as Rosa Isela and eight months pregnant, allegedly met the woman who offered her the clothes
through social networks
, according to her family.
Her corpse, now without the baby in her womb, was found in a ranch in Medellín, in the urban area of Veracruz, according to the aforementioned newspaper.
Agents from the Veracruz State Attorney General's Office arrested two people linked to this
alleged femicide
, identified only as Verónica and Gonzalo.
According to the newspaper, they had a baby with them when they were arrested, who may be the victim's daughter.
Another young woman, identified as Jenny Judith and nine months pregnant, disappeared in a similar way in April 2018, according to the aforementioned newspaper: she was offered

and was found dead hours later between the municipalities of Lerdo de Tejada and Alvarado, in the state of Veracruz.
