The confirmation of this conference, which was held for the first time in this format in Baghdad in August 2021, came after a telephone conversation on Sunday between French President Emmanuel Macron and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Chia Al-Soudani.

Following their meeting on November 27, the two leaders agreed to continue, together with Jordan, the preparation of the next summit in the ''Baghdad'' format which will bring together in Amman the main leaders of the region as well as the President of the Republic before the end of the year

”, specified the presidency, while Iraq, like Syria, suffered a series of Turkish air raids against positions of Kurdish fighters .
