The car park located in the heart of Chantilly, not far from the castle and rue du Connétable is called the Reservoir because it was built on the site of an old reservoir dating from the 17th century, which originally supplied the games of water in the gardens of the Château de Chantilly, designed by André Le Nôtre.
Converted into a 153-space car park since 2016, the place has just served as a hunting ground for trailer thieves.
During the night from Friday to Saturday, the thugs degraded eight vehicles in the parking lot, to seize objects inside.

But this time, the thieves will not have had time to profit from their misdeeds.
The gendarmes of Chantilly meticulously exploited the images of the video surveillance, which made it possible to go back to the authors.
Four individuals from the Creil Basin were thus arrested this Sunday and were immediately placed in police custody.
It will be up to the public prosecutor to decide on their fate on Monday.
Which could be different depending on the individuals, whose alleged involvement is not the same for each of the four suspects.
The speed of the investigation carried out by the gendarmes of Chantilly nevertheless made it possible to find almost all of the objects which had been stolen two days earlier, goods which will be returned to their owners.
