A serious accident occurs on the A67.
Two people are injured and there is major property damage.

The 70 and 54-year-old men were trapped in the car by the accident and had to be freed by the fire department.

What happened?
The two men were traveling southbound on the A67 around 6.40pm on Saturday evening (December 3).
Shortly after the Lorsch exit, the 70-year-old at the wheel of the Corvette lost control of the vehicle for reasons that have not yet been clarified.
First, the car crashed into the concrete central protection wall, then the car spun across all three lanes and slipped under the right-hand crash barrier, the police reported.

Since both men were trapped in the sports car, the fire brigade had to move in with heavy equipment.
First, the emergency services severed the guardrail, then they cut open the Corvette and freed the occupants.
In addition to the Lorsch fire brigade, several ambulances and ambulances from the Bergstraße rescue control center and several patrol cars from the South Hesse police were on site.
A rescue helicopter also landed at the scene of the accident.
An expert was called in to determine the cause of the accident, police said.
According to witnesses, no other vehicles were involved.
The A67 was completely closed for an hour to the south, and the police estimate the damage at around 100,000 euros.
