Al-Hasakah - SANA
The Directorate of Education in Al-Hasakah Governorate held an open day in accredited schools to compensate for the educational loss, which is implemented by the Directorate in cooperation with UNICEF and the St. Avram Al-Syriani Development Authority.
The Director of Education, Ilham Surkhan, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the activities of the open day in which the students participated included the presentation of a number of paintings, educational and entertainment segments, sports contests and competitions, theatrical performances, and a singing segment, with the completion of various literary paintings that included poetry, singing and the story.
Surkhan indicated that the students held an art exhibition in which they expressed, through the participating drawings, national and humanitarian issues, and the nature and school atmosphere. During the implementation of the event, a number of outstanding students were honored.
It is noteworthy that the schools in which the activities were held are (Zuhdi Hanna, Abi Dhar Al-Ghafari Collective, Al-Rantisi Collective, Walid Nofal, and Khalil Kadro).
