Sources in the party said that Netanyahu has no intention of withdrawing from the coalition agreement he signed with Chairman Noam: "a campaign that has no truth in it." However, there is a possibility that the government's approval to implement the necessary move within 30 days will be rejected, which could lead to Maoz's threat to retire from the government

Likud officials said this morning (Sunday) that the prime minister-designate has no intention of withdrawing from the coalition agreement signed with chairman Noam Avi Maoz, according to which responsibility for the external contents of the education system in Israel will be transferred to him. No intention to violate the agreement with Ma'oz.

However, in order to implement the agreement with MK Ma'oz, the government must approve a decision on the transfer of the unit from the Ministry of Education to the Prime Minister's Office within 30 days of its establishment, and there is a possibility that the move will be postponed.

In such a case, Maoz may see this as a violation of an agreement with him and threaten to withdraw from the government and return to the Knesset, in an attempt to challenge it with private legislation in the Knesset.

Members of Knesset in Likud added that the moves Maoz wants to lead in the next government will be subject to Netanyahu.

MK Miki Zohar said on the IDF airwaves that he wants to send a reassuring message to the heads of the authorities who threatened not to cooperate with Maoz's plans: "I want to reassure the heads of the authorities. The conclusion is very clear, also in accordance with the fact that he will work with the Prime Minister. Anything that Avi Maoz wants to advance will be with the approval and consent of Prime Minister-designate Netanyahu."

Zohar explained that "Since Mouz has decided that he wants to be part of the coalition, we accept it, but of course not under all conditions. There are things that we will not accept, such as a radical change in the education programs in the schools - we will not allow that."

Today, Prime Minister Yair Lapid addressed the storm and wrote that Netanyahu lied when he said that he would "personally supervise" the activities of the unit that would operate under Ma'oz: "Anyone who has ever walked through the Prime Minister's Office knows that this is a lie, anyone who knows the way the GFN unit operates knows that it is A lie.

" "Netanyahu handed a budget of more than two billion shekels into the hands of a dangerous racist, with an entrance ticket open to the hearts and minds of every child in Israel," added Lapid. "If we don't stop them, Maoz and his dark gang will introduce dark content into our children's schools, Racists, extremists, full of misogyny and hatred of LGBT people."
