Detective and Intelligence Officer Boris Nazirov from the Tamra station told Israel Hayom: In the afternoon, a report was received about the suspicious movement of a young man inside a kindergarten.
A detective team was called to the scene and after a search, a FN pistol with a ready-to-use cartridge was found.
After a short time, a suspect in the act, a 17-year-old resident of the neighborhood, who lives near the kindergarten, was arrested.
Tomorrow he will be brought to court for remand."
Inspector Nazirov added: "If by mistake one of the children finds the gun and plays with it - we would be in a completely different situation. In recent times we have seen youths who are involved in crime."
Meanwhile, since the beginning of the year, more than 1,000 weapons have been seized in the northern district:
