Mysterious stabbing in the subway.
A man was stabbed during the night from Saturday to Sunday in Paris, in a metro station in the Barbès sector (18th century).
Around 10:50 p.m., the police were called by residents following the presence of an injured person at 122, boulevard de la Chapelle.
When the patrol arrives on the scene, the victim is in the hands of firefighters trying to stop the bleeding.
The injured man has a serious chest wound, but his vital prognosis is not engaged.
Motive and circumstances of the facts remain to be determined
The man was immediately placed in the ambulance and taken to the Bichat hospital in Paris (18th century).
“He had no identity papers on him,” notes an official.
The police questioned the witnesses who remained at the scene.
The latter say that the facts would have taken place in a metro station in the area, without further details.
Two men would have taken him to task for an undetermined reason.
One of them allegedly stabbed him in the chest before fleeing with his accomplice.
Although injured, the victim would have found the strength to rise to the surface before being rescued in the street.
The investigators of the regional transport security (SRT Gospel) are responsible for carrying out the rest of the investigations.
They will take note of the CCTV images of the nearest metro stations, starting with those of Barbès, Château Rouge and La Chapelle to find the precise location of the attack.
This Sunday, the victim will be heard and his statements may shed light on the context of this attack.
This very popular sector of the capital is deemed unsafe.
