Daraa-Sana
Today, Daraa Governorate has put three mass transit buses at the service of citizens at nominal prices, which reduces some material costs and at the same time solves the transportation crisis on some lines.
A member of the Executive Office of the Daraa Governorate Council, responsible for the transport sector, Kamal Al-Abdullah, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the first bus will operate on the Daraa Al-Sanamayn line within the Al-Sanamayn Al-Qanya route, Sheikh Maskin Abta Da’el Etman Daraa, and the second will intend Daraa via Sheikh Maskin, and the third on the Daraa line, Izra’a Highway, pointing out that this step met with the satisfaction of the citizens in terms of the appropriate pricing, which was set for the Sanamayn Daraa at 850 pounds per passenger and 575 pounds for the Nawa and Azraa lines.
The head of the Daraa City Council, Eng. Amin al-Omari, said in a similar statement that the buses were received from the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment at an earlier stage, and will operate on axes that suffer from congestion, pointing out that the Daraa governorate aspires to activate new routes and a larger number of mass transit buses.
Daraa Governorate received the buses from the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment on the sixth of last July.
