The District Court in Tel Aviv today (Sunday) acquitted Oral Zoit, a 26-year-old resident of Holon, of the crime of murder, who shot to death 3.5 years ago the late Yuri Podovni due to an argument over parking. The judge convicted Zoit of the crime of manslaughter.

Judge Ra'anan Ben Yosef wrote in the verdict that "all the objective facts do not show that the intent should be used in his case. After shooting, he continued to beat the deceased."

"The dispute was whether the prosecution proved that when he pulled the trigger he had the intention of murder. The prosecution argued that he should be convicted of premeditated murder, while the defense argued that he should be convicted of premeditated murder. The videos are silent but clearly tell about what happened at the scene - not so the witnesses who were at the incident "You can clearly see a violent melee between the camps of less than two minutes," the judge wrote in the verdict.
