The Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Eng. Hussein Makhlouf, discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Damascus, Yuri Sloka, the strengthening of cooperation relations in the service, humanitarian and environmental fields between the two friendly countries, and ways to develop them.
Makhlouf stressed the importance of joint cooperation between the two countries to secure the needs of the Ministry of Local Administration, the governorates and its affiliates in terms of engineering machinery and tractors, and the importance of activating previous agreements related to the provision of internal transport buses to Syria.
For his part, the Belarusian ambassador stressed the importance of the relations of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, pointing to the need to provide the humanitarian needs of the Syrian people.
