The Shenzhou-14 manned spacecraft has separated from the Chinese space station constellation, after the astronauts completed multiple missions over the past months.
Xinhua quoted the Chinese Manned Space Agency as saying today: “Before the separation, the astronauts completed various work such as rotations in orbit with the crew of the manned spacecraft “Shenzhou-15”, determining the status of the space station group, sorting and loading experiment data, and cleaning and transporting the supplies kept in the space. Orbit, with the support of science and technology personnel on the ground, where three astronauts, "Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuezhe," lived and worked on the space station group for 183 days.
The agency indicated that under ground control, the Shenzhou-14 spacecraft will re-enter the Earth's atmosphere at an appropriate time, to begin its return home journey.
The three Shenzhou-14 astronauts were sent to the space station on the fifth of last June, where they completed multiple tasks over the past months, including supervising five rendezvous and docking operations, carrying out three extravehicular activities, giving a scientific lecture via live broadcast, and conducting a number of of practical and technological experiences.
