In an interview with the economic editor of "Israel Hayom" Sonia Gorodisky, at the shopping malls conference, Oren Vozh, chairman of the Estee Lauder group of companies, talks about the surge in online sales in the past month.
"We noticed an increase in online sales years ago. We were among the pioneers to establish new platforms there.
Before the corona virus, we were selling 500 orders a day, and we jumped to ten thousand orders a day.
Last November we broke records in the company and saw a 30 percent increase in sales from last year.
We issued over 135,000 orders this month."
In the interview, Profit also referred to the regulatory difficulties they have to face, and called for the tax to be eased to allow the consumer to purchase products in Israel instead of Europe.
