The plastic art exhibition (Hope and Color), which is hosted by the exhibition hall of the Al-Assad House of Culture in Lattakia, brings together the works of young female graduates of the Fine Arts Center who came to the world of art from different academic disciplines.

The exhibition, which will continue until next Thursday, includes 30 plastic works that varied between acrylic, oil, and lead, and various subjects dominated by women and nature, in addition to portraiture.

Hanan Al-Satif is a graduate of Physics and Translation and is currently preparing to graduate from the Fine Arts Center. In a statement to a SANA reporter, she saw that the exhibition was an opportunity to shed light on the hobby of drawing that she presented to her after studying physics and working in the field of human development, which helped her define her desire and work on her development, indicating that her participation in the exhibition She came up with a set of oil and acrylic works that depict women as the origin and root from which everything beautiful was created.

Bodour El Setif, who holds a degree in history and a diploma in educational qualification and is currently a fourth year in law, sees art as a psychological need that helps her unload her latent capabilities, explaining that the exhibition that includes her alongside her sister, niece and their friend came to express themselves in colors and to help them express their passion through painting. And color, so the name of the show was (Hope and Color).

Yousra al-Hayek, a civil engineer and a graduate of the Fine Arts Center, spoke about her participation in the exhibition through oil works that represent nature, considering that color gives people hope for life, while drawing takes the artist to beautiful and magical worlds.

The artist and visual critic, Hussein Sokoor, said that the exhibition embodies the importance of encouraging the young generation as the hope for a better gift, expressing his happiness when he finds something special that deserves support, especially in these difficult circumstances.

Sokoor considered that the works presented in the exhibition come within the framework of academic study, serious research, and the internal obsession with the artistic work, which should lead them to the accumulation of the real amount of art accompanied by constant knowledge of the development in the field of arts, and in the end, the artist gives his own philosophy, his idea of ​​​​creativity and the nature of the artwork. .
