Seven people were killed and 45 others injured when a tourist bus fell into a valley in East Java Province, Indonesia.
Xinhua quoted local police chief Muhammad Ridwan as saying today that a tourist bus traveling from Semarang in Central Java to Majetan Regency in East Java for a tourist tour collided with iron roadblocks on a steep road in Mount Lau, causing it to fall into a narrow ravine. Seven passengers were killed, and 45 others were injured, 31 of whom were in critical condition.
Radwan pointed out that the injured were transferred to nearby health centers to receive the necessary treatment and an investigation was opened into the accident to find out its causes.
