Initially the Magistrate's Court in Tiberias ordered that the definitions be removed and following an appeal filed against the decision, the District Court in Nazareth decided to accept the claims of the Enforcement Authority and ruled that the demolition order issued must be complied with.



The District Court's decision determined that the prohibited works The establishment of fences was carried out "in a coastal environment which is a public resource, and under the circumstances it is clear that the need to maintain a coastal environment is an important and supreme interest that outweighs all the other considerations claimed by the appellant".



The Land Enforcement Authority stated that this demolition joins the series of enforcement actions taken in the Kinneret area in recent years: the authority has issued warnings and fines ranging from 300-600 thousand shekels to a number of beaches that carry out prohibited uses of the beach.
