Windows open until Christmas Eve, behind which stories hide.

Wolfratshausen – Stars in subtle colors hang from the ceiling.

Angels with curly hair smile at passers-by.

There are white table candles in wooden stands on the floor, with sparkles and glitter in between.

The shop window of the shop "Wunsch Traum" on Johannisgasse in Wolfratshausen puts many beautiful things and decorations in the mood for Christmas.

"Wunsch Traum" gets you in the mood for Christmas with decoration and gift ideas

Shop owners Barbara and Augustin Bader redesign the shop window every four to six weeks.

"With a lot of passion and commitment," as they say.

After getting in the mood for the Advent season, it's now time for Christmas.

This is followed by Valentine's Day.

"We always pick up on a seasonal theme," says Barbara Bader (59).

"It will be more colorful again in January."

For a new decoration, the entire shop window had to be cleared out, adds her husband.

Only the two round shelves and the lamps remain.

The conversion took about two days.

"We have a plan in our heads, and there are also sketches - until we start," says the 58-year-old with a smile.

Barbara Bader is the one who lets her creativity run free.

To see how the shop window looks, she goes to the other side of the street.

And sometimes sleep on it.

Then it can happen that she lends a hand again.

No window is like the other.

"We're always doing something new," says Augustin Bader.

The praise from passers-by and customers proves that the effort is worth it.

"Positive feedback spurs you on."

The window of the “Wunsch Traum” manufactory in Wolfratshausen is regularly redecorated

In addition to decorations and candles, the "Wunsch Traum" also sells room fragrances, cosmetics and incense products - an old ritual that is currently in vogue.

Since the first lockdown, the Baders have also dabbled in powerstones.

There is a set especially for the Christmas peace that consists of the five stones tourmaline, amazonite, rose quartz, amethyst and peace agate.

"People usually have a lot of expectations of Christmas," says Barbara Bader.

"When everyone is together, there's a bang." This can be prevented: a good atmosphere can be created with the stones.

By the way, the left corner of the shop window is a bit more colourful.

A Christmas tree with unusual decorations draws attention to itself.

A green pickle hangs next to a pink and gold Buddha.

These "Crazy Christmas" items are very popular with children and people with modern furnishings.
