Today, the Job Suitability Committee in As-Suwayda Governorate approved the acceptance of 30 workers with disabilities for appointment in the Directorates of Education and Health, and the Fuel Branch with annual work contracts, after conducting the necessary examination for them.
The Director of Social Affairs and Labor in As-Suwayda, the head of the committee, Engineer Samer Bahsas, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the employment of persons with disabilities is carried out according to the permitted percentage, which does not exceed 4 percent of the staffing of the public entity appointed in it, indicating that the Job Suitability Committee includes in its membership representatives of Directorates of Social Affairs, Labor and Health, the Sub-Council for the Disabled, and the public entity requesting employment.
Bahsas explained that the appointment is based on the need of the public entity, the vacancies available to it, and the ability of persons with disabilities to work in the required job position.
