As announced, climate demonstrators continued their blockades in Berlin and at the start of the week again caused obstacles in commuter traffic.
First, the police registered a protest action in front of the main train station on Invalidenstrasse with seven people.
A police spokeswoman said five of them had stuck to the roadway.
The “Berliner Morgenpost” had previously reported.
Berlin - Further campaigns followed on Wilhelmstrasse, at the corner of Hallesches Ufer and Potsdamer Strasse, at the corner of Varian-Fry-Strasse.
According to the police, four activists were stuck there.
The Berlin traffic information center spoke of another protest action on the B1 in the Tiergarten area near Stresemannstraße, which caused traffic jams.
There were other actions by the climate protest group “Last Generation” in Munich.
The group said on Twitter: "As announced last Friday, determined supporters of the last generation are again blocking a street on Munich's Karlsplatz to demand the first security measures against the climate catastrophe." Among them are many who already have one month in prison and some were sentenced to heavy fines.
"At the same time, people in Munich are climbing up gantry signs while others are blocking streets in Berlin." dpa
