"Celebrity Big Brother" is usually pretty chaotic.

Disputes and conflicts are inevitable in the reality hit.

According to comedian Jörg Knör, there are also rather uncomfortable conditions behind the scenes.

Cologne – Ten years of great entertainment and delicious drama.

In 2022, the notorious reality format "Celebrity Big Brother" is all about a milestone birthday - which of course needs to be celebrated properly.

In order to serve viewers a top-class spectacle, SAT.1 invited sixteen guests, most of them well-known, to the container flat share in the MMC Studios in Cologne – who clash in a confined space and in nerve-wracking competitions until the finale on December 7th.

Whether touching confessions, outbursts of anger or howling fits: nothing escapes the watchful eyes of the "big brother".

Camera surveillance and snoring roommates: Jörg Knör talks about the "Celebrity Big Brother" experience

Among the (more or less) prominent participants in the "Celebrity Big Brother" anniversary season is parodist Jörg Knör (63).

The native of Wuppertal, who has made a name for himself with his legendary impersonations, is still more of a newcomer to the world of reality TV, but did not do so badly in the container flat share.

Despite his likeable demeanor and fun atmosphere, it wasn't enough to win in the end: on the 14th day of the competition, the comedian had to pack his bags and leave the studio - which he doesn't seem to remember as a particularly idyllic place.

The anniversary season of "Celebrity Big Brother" is currently in full swing.

The fans should be aware that life in the “Celebrity Big Brother” flat share – except maybe in the luxurious loft – is no picnic, after all it is precisely the uncomfortable living situation that causes so much friction.

Jörg Knör

reveals to

bild.de how exhausting his stay in the 24-hour camera-monitored facility really was – and above all how little sleep he got.

"These are conversations until what feels like five o'clock in the consulting room.

Then you have to process the events for yourself," the TV star recalls. "You then lie down on an air mattress that is only half full to sleep.

If you then have Katy Knarrenbauer snoring next to you and (Sam Dylan) babble something all the time, sleeping is extremely bad.”

The “Big Brother” recipe for success

Like many other reality shows, "Big Brother" comes from the Netherlands.

The format has been running there since 1999, allowing previously unknown participants to compete against each other in a closed community Template served.

The show's name is based on the concept of 'big brother' from British writer George Orwell's dystopian novel '1984' - a dire omen for any brave brave enough to venture into the container.

"Simply horrible": Jörg Knör unpacks about the tough everyday life in the "Celebrity Big Brother" flat share

Anyone who goes to “Celebrity Big Brother” wants to make it big – but TV fame is not free.

Jörg Knör felt this firsthand: In an interview with

bild.de

, he tells us that after three hours of sleep, the house guests are not woken up by the chirping of birds, but by "hammering and sawing".

Container life also leaves a lot to be desired in culinary terms.

According to Jörg, who spent his 14 days in the container in the garage, the food was mostly dry toast “without toppings” in the morning and pasta without anything for dinner.

"It's just horrible," the TV prankster rants.

Despite the sparse supplies and the uncomfortable sleeping situation in the container, one aspect of "Celebrity Big Brother" proved to be an even greater challenge: the week in isolation before the start of filming - seven days without television and mobile phones and without contact with others.

"Nobody can really imagine that who hasn't experienced it themselves," Jörg Knör looks back

on the upsetting experience of

bild.de.

His TV colleague Valentina Doronina (22) received an unwanted visit from her ex-boyfriend on the “Celebrity Big Brother” set.
