State President Yitzhak Herzog today called on the new government in Israel to continue strengthening the Abraham Accords, to develop ties with the countries that signed it and to expand them to other countries.

"The challenge of the Abraham Accords is important. Everyone understands that," Herzog said in a conversation with reporters in Abu Dhabi.

"This obliges the Israeli top brass to understand that this challenge continues."



Following his visit to Bahrain, Herzog met today with the ruler of the Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.
