The Iranian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 5 deaths and 69 new cases of coronavirus, during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in a statement today: The total number of infections since the virus began spreading in the country until today has reached 7,559,924, while the total number of deaths has reached 144,645.
The statement added: The number of people recovering from the disease has reached 7,335,330 people so far.
Iran has recently witnessed a significant decrease in the number of deaths and infections with the Coronavirus, as a result of the measures taken and the widespread vaccination campaign.
