In a video that appeared on social media today (Monday), an explosion is apparently seen at the Russian Air Force base "Angels 2", which is located 400 km southeast of Moscow, and Tupolev Tu-95 bombers are located there.
Satellite images published recently show that the Russians have increased the number of bombers Tu-95MS Bear and Tu-95MS Bear and Tu-160 Blackjack at the base. The photos have sparked speculation in the media that a new massive missile attack is expected to be launched in Ukraine soon.
The German "Der Spiegel" was the first to publish the photos on November 28, which came from the supplier Commercial Maxar Technologies According to the newspaper, 20 bombers are at the base.

Satellite images from Planet Labs also showed an increase in the number of bombers, as well as aircraft, this past weekend compared to earlier this month.
In total, 31 aircraft, including 20 Tu-95MS bombers and six Tu-160s, were seen in the 29 November footage compared to only 16 in the 15 November footage.
Engels is the most important air force base in western Russia, and is home to two regiments (a unit usually consisting of battalions or companies) of bombers.
An increase in activity at the base is usually observed ahead of major exercises or routine maneuvers held in western Russia or neighboring Belarus.
